About Taylor Made Science

Taylor Made Science offers a series of college-prep, online science courses designed to prepare students for success in science at the university level. The series includes four honors level high school core science courses, two Advanced Placement sciences, and two elective courses that can be used either as honors level middle school sciences or regular level high school science electives.

All science courses are taught with a “flipped” format. This means that students complete background work between classes through guided textbook reading and teacher-made lecture videos. The lab component of the core courses is available as either live or prerecorded. AP and elective courses have a prerecorded lab component. But all courses are hands-on with students completing real science labs as part of their online class experience using a lab supply kit mailed to each student. No matter the format, the teacher is available between classes to every student (live and prerecorded) through email at any time.

For a list of available science courses with descriptions of each, please see the course descriptions page. To find out when courses will be offered, please see the schedule page.
